GBV, child safeguarding and policy engagement
Led proposal development and fundraising strategy, securing the organization’s first multi-year grant ($50,000) to support safe learning environments for 3,000 girls in informal settlements and advance survivor-led safeguarding frameworks within school systems.
The Fund For Congolese Women
Feminist philanthropy and movement building
Secured $115,000 from GlobalGiving, the .ORG Impact Awards, and the Daughters for Earth Fund. Led emergency fundraising during the 2025 eastern DRC humanitarian crisis, securing $50,000 from the Irene M. Staehelin Foundation. Drafted executive speeches and prepared briefings for high-level donor convenings, including UN CSW, the Women’s Funding Network, and the Africa Philanthropy Network.

Education access
Managed grants and donor engagement for education initiatives across Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda. Ensured reporting compliance for majority of grant portfolio and co-led implementation of Salesforce-based donor management system to improve fundraising systems and decision-making. Led an international donor visit and due diligence process resulting in a $100,000 award.

Rural WASH
Developed high-impact proposals shortlisted for the Lipman Prize and the Dovetail Impact Foundation. Led full-cycle submissions to institutional donors, including the SDG Impact Finance Initiative, articulating blended-finance models for rural water services. Produced clear technical and financial narratives translating complex financing approached into funder-ready proposals.

Led design, writing, and management of 20+ multi-year, multi-country grants, securing over $5M from donors including Gates Foundation, Mulago Foundation, and World Vision. Successfully managed high-level donor visits resulting in $1.5M in new funding and acted as rapporteur in senior convenings with government stakeholders.

Secured a $10,000 partnership with a European donor within my first three months and played a leading role in shaping the team’s fundraising strategy, including designing targeted engagement approaches for different donor segments.
